I tried this tip on my 8330 and I was able to get to the email settings and then there was no option for
auto 'anything' not sure wht happened
It is the third option in "email settings", set it to yes and then fill in with your signature.
hope it works...
On my Curve I finally found it under Setup, Email settings. I selected my account, then options, and signature was there, defaulting to "sent from BB Storm" or some such thing.
I have the Bold and am not on an enterprise server. I am getting both my work email and my personal email on my BB but the devise is privately owned by m. I understand without the enterprise server the option to add an auto email signature does not exist. I know I read this somewhere on the BB site but I can't recall where.
the signature function is better used from the bis web portal (example telus.blackberry.com, check with your provider for the proper url) when logged in from you home computer you can customize the signature for each email under the "edit" icon.
I also have the 8330 and I cant find it all. I tried the third option also and nothing. Please let me know
i don't think some of the 8330's have auto name i can't fine a way to add it and i have look ever where any one said to look and i even went back to my carrier web site where you have your service books and set up page it isn't their. some one that has U S CELLULAR for a carrier will have to show me how to set it up. ![]()
under options and email settings you have to disable html email and then it will give you the option to auto signature.
I have a 9630 TOUR...and I can't find where to set up an AutoSignature either - does anyone know how on a TOUR?
We post and ask about problems. You notice that Blackberry never sends us a solution. Maybe they don't know the answer to our problems....or just don't give a crap. They already have our dollars.....
Hi @Vixxen29, @FloridaDude, and @Mark Karbotly,
Are you a BES or BIS user (BIS will be something like Gmail, or Yahoo)? If you are BIS user you set your auto-signature through your carrier BIS webpage from a desktop computer.
Hopefully that helps. If you are looking for support, I highly recommend the BlackBerry Support Forums (support.blackberry.com). There is a wealth of information there.
