I am having the same issues. For the past week, the facebook app on my blackberry randonly signs me out and will not let me log back in. Whenever it tells me I have a new notificatio, or message, or comment to my status, etc. I can;t log into the app. I can log in through the browser, but not the app, which I prefer to use. I have no idea what to do. I called Verizon and they said it's a facebook server issue. The error message I get is usually that I can;t log in because I have no data service, but I do have data service. I have tried contacting facebook repeatedly, but I have never gotten a response.

I have noticed the same problem for the last week.  I can't read the status comments for FB on my Blackberry.  I have deleted the app and reinstalled and when I login in I get a message that reads "there was a problem while communicating with facebook" - even though I am logged in I find that I can't respond to comments and directs me to go to another site. 

Very frustrating and can't seem to find any new upgrade or work around for this "bug". It's been going on for about week - since they launced Facebook Lite.

OMG!  I'm having the same issue.  I thought it was something that I did but obviously not. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!  SOMEBODY!!!

i cant get my noifications from fb ive tried every thing but to no avail its so annoyin ive been like this for a week now

same problem since yesterday. really frustrating.

I have also received error messages after reinstalling FB.  Sounds like its a FB thing and not our phones at least.  This new Fb app isnt good like the old one.

I am having the same problem as well. When I click on a status comment or a request, rather than going directly to it like it usually does, a short menu pops up and asks if I want to open it, etc. and doesn't do anything which I opt to open it. If anyone finds a solution, please post or let me know.
