Official BlackBerry channel on YouTube.com

I just read that BlackBerry now has its own official channel on YouTube.  It has numerous video clips that go through a lot of basic, but useful, steps to perform typical functions.

Check it out:

What do you think so far? Any videos you are itching to see?

Is it basically the Tips and Tricks section just in Video form?

Becky,

I just got a BB Curve 8330. It's my first BB. I am also on a Mac, which is a whole different ballgame.

My question is about YouTube. Can I play videos from YouTube on my BB? I've gone to YouTube, and found the video I wanted to watch and hit  "WATCH VIDEO", and nothing happens. I am doing something wrong???

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yup! Right now, the channel is has mostly tips in video form, but we are going to be expanding and adding new and more videos to our library.

What kind of videos would you like to see up there?

Hi Patti,

This is actually something I have been meaning to look up as well - I was on a train yesterday and wanted sooo bad to watch videos. I got this link from the BlackBerry Support Forums: http://bit.ly/abr0G. I haven't gone through the tips yet - let's both check it out and then compare notes!

Becky,

That's so interesting. My son has the same BB as I do, and he can watch YouTube videos on his without a problem. I asked him to check my BB out, and he did and couldn't understand why I can't watch. I am with Sprint, so before I start downloading programs, I will see what they have to say. Maybe resetting Service Books? I will let you know if I make any progress.

Please let me know if you have figured it out.

Thanks,

Patti

I think a video to show how to sync your email contacts to your device would be a good. A lot of people on the site have been asking about this topic!

That's a great idea! I will pass it along to the people here who run the channel!

Becky,

I have been on the phone withRim and finally discovered why I can't watch YouTube videos. I had downloaded Opera mini and Opera Mini Beta and it wouldn't allow me to get the link of the video. Once Ideleted both Opera browswers, I can watch all (or most all) of the YouTube videos without downloading any other applications.

I hope this is helpful.

Patti

I think this whole link would be a great idea to turn into a youtube video!

Xenozu on Blackberry App World is also a great app for watching YouTube videos on your BB.

Debi,  I am getting YouTube videos without downloading anything. What would be the advantage of downloading the program Xenozu?

Thanx....just curious
